To access your chats, simply open Derdost and tap on the Chats tab. Here, you can see your active chats. If the chat has a time limit, you can also track the remaining time.
To view messages within a chat and send new messages, simply tap on the chat.
Chats initiated through the Matching method have a 24-hour time limit. At the end of this period, unless both parties wish to extend the chat, it will automatically end, and all messages will be deleted.
If you wish to extend the chat before the 24-hour limit:
Tap on the menu button located at the top right of the chat screen.
Tap on Pin Chat.
When the chat screen is not open and you receive a new message, the new message is delivered to you via instant notification. If you do not wish to receive notifications from a chat, you can mute that chat.
To mute a chat:
Tap on the menu button located at the top right of the chat screen.
Tap on Mute Chat.
To unmute a chat:
Tap on the menu button located at the top right of the chat screen.
Tap on Unmute Chat.
It is possible to delete all messages within a chat only from your end at once.
To delete all messages in a chat:
Tap on the menu button located at the top right of the chat screen.
Tap on Clear Chat.
To hide a chat from the Chats screen, you can archive the chat. Archived chats will be hidden until a new message is received from the other party.
To archive a chat:
Tap on the menu button located at the top right of the chat screen.
Tap on Archive.
You can delete a chat that you no longer wish to continue at any time. In deleted chats, you cannot send or receive messages, and the user on the other end is notified that the chat has been deleted.
To delete a chat:
Tap on the menu button located at the top right of the chat screen.
Tap on Delete Chat.
If you come across a chat containing inappropriate or disturbing content, you can report the relevant chat and person to us.
To report a chat:
Tap on the menu button located at the top right of the chat screen.
Tap on Report.
If you find yourself in a chat containing inappropriate or disturbing content, you can block the relevant person. Blocking a person means you will not be matched with them again and you cannot initiate chats with them.
To block a person:
Tap on the menu button located at the top right of the chat screen.
Tap on Block Person.
